The Anacortes School District is comprised of approximately 2,500 students on six sites, including an early education campus, three elementary schools, a middle school, and the high school. The district offers a full range of educational options from special education programming to our Challenge program for highly capable students.
The strategic vision of the district is a focus on students being "school ready", "transition ready", and "college/work" ready. The early education programs, recognized and partially funded for their excellence by the Gates Foundation, help ensure that students are ready for school and able to work constructively. A mature and experienced staff provide intermediate education in a nurturing and academically challenging environment. Anacortes High School provides a wide variety of classes, ranging from career technical to advanced placement.
