Transportation
There are a variety of transportation modes available in and around Anacortes including automobile, boat, plane, train, bus, taxi and ferry. Regional airports include Seattle-Tacoma International, Bellingham International, Skagit Regional and the Anacortes Airport.
By Ferry – Washington State Ferries offers service to and from Anacortes, other San Juan Islands and Sidney/Victoria, B.C.
By Air – Private and charter planes utilize the Anacortes Municipal Airport as well as the Skagit Regional Airport and offer service between Anacortes, Bellingham, the San Juan Islands, Sidney/Victoria, B.C. and other locations.
By Boat – Transient moorage is available as are charters and rentals.
By Train – Amtrak offers service between Orange County, California and Vancouver, B.C. with a station located in Mount Vernon that offers connections to Anacortes via bus shuttle or taxi.
Bus – Bellair Charters Airporter Shuttle offers service between Anacortes and SeaTac International Airport, Mount Vernon, Bellingham and Oak Harbor. Greyhound also offers service to the area.
Taxi – Two local companies offer service in and around Anacortes and Skagit County.
Automobile – Bring your own car or rent one and drive to Anacortes from just about anywhere!
