The Anacortes Futures Project (AFP) was initiated by the Chamber of Commerce in 2007 and was published in 2009. In concert with the City of Anacortes and Port of Anacortes, the decision was made to fund the AFP in 2010 and to hire a professional consultant to assist with public visioning, an opportunity assessment, and development of a strategic master plan. The attachments include the full text of the AFP, a consultancy RFP, both copies of the Berk Study, and the Port of Anacortes Comprehensive Plan.
