The event center is decorated with Santa's house and Mrs. Claus Kitchen. Tickets are available to purchase at the door. Proceeds benefit enrichment programs for students in Anacortes School District.

December 6th Saint Nicholas Feast Day with the Croatian Cultural Center
• 10:00 a.m. - Feast of St. Nicholas Mass at St. Mary Church. Entrance procession with icon of St. Nicholas by the members of the Croatian community (Nick Mavar, Sr. and John Lovric)
• 10:45 a.m. - End of Mass; car procession with St. Nicholas icon to the Seafarers Memorial Park.
• 11:00 a.m. - Assemble at Seafarers Memorial Park for placement of icon and the laying of wreath and roses at Our Lady of the Sea.
• Eternal Father - Navy Hymn sung by the An-O-Chords.
• Blessing of Mariners and fleet by Fr. Marion, OSB, pastor of St. Mary.
• 12:00 p.m. - Return icon to Croatian Cultural Center located at 801 5th St. in Anacortes WA. Children to meet with St. Nicholas and be gifted with tangerines and chocolate gold coins. Listen to the story of St. Nicholas as narrated by Michael Petrish, and then enjoy a no-host luncheon of Croatian food and seasonal pastries.

December 9th Taste of Thailand Night ($45)
Jackie Davison, Cooking Instructor/Owner Potluck Kitchen Studio, loves to show people how fast, easy, healthy and deliciously fresh Thai food can be. (It also happens to be gluten and dairy free.) In this hands-on class, students will make: Hot and Sour Soup with Prawns, Swimming Rama with Peanut Sauce,Thai Curry with Jasmine Rice, and a Mango Honey-Mint Sorbet for dessert. Students will put together the menu from start to finish, enjoy this scrumptious dinner and one wine pairing, and have recipes to make it easy to re-create at home. Must be 21 to attend.

Karen Neugebauer, is one of a handful of Master Chocolatiers in the entire US. She owns and operates Forte Chocolates in Mount Vernon, WA, makers of beautiful, artisinal chocolates.Come listen to her talk about her background and learn what makes her chocolates so special. Then sample a round of her chocolates and enjoy a red wine pairing. Forte Chocolates will also be on sale at the end of the evening for you to purchase. What a great gift! And just in time for holidays!!

Come put some love into it just in time for Christmas!
Potluck Kitchen Studio will be open from 1-4pm to "kids" of all sizes to come in and decorate 6 pre-made shortbread cookies to take home or to give to loved ones. The cookies will come in an assortment of holiday shapes. Icing, sprinkles and other decorations will be supplied. Tracey Olson, of Two Girls Baking, a dessert catering company from Anacortes, will be on hand to offer expert decorating tips and tricks. Cookies can be made gluten-free with advance notice.

Anacortes Community Theatre presents Bob's Your Elf

Banished from the North Pole, an elf named Bob is ordered by Santa to learn a lesson or two about cooperating with others. Bob is sent to a small town to help out with the production of their annual Chistmas pagent. Bob is cast with a group of bumpling amatuer actors doing their darndest to put on the best dang Christmas show the town has ever seen. A holiday treat directed by Beth Greatorex.
