About the Anacortes Letters

Across Skagit County, something bold, colorful, and entirely unique has taken shape. Five-foot-tall letters, each one a canvas of local creativity, are now welcoming visitors and inviting exploration this summer.
These larger-than-life installations celebrate the spirit, identity, and artistry of Skagit County. Every letter reflects the personality of the place it lives. Some are inspired by agriculture, others by maritime heritage, outdoor adventure, or the arts. No two are alike, and that is exactly the point.
Visit all six letter installations across Skagit County and be entered into a drawing to win a Skagit Valley prize! All you have to do is hashtag #MagicSkagit on each photo. Click here to find the locations of the letters.
